Master of Philosophy Information and Communication Technologies in Education

The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education programme cultivates understanding of the research, theory and practice which underpin the use of technology in education, in order to enhance candidates’ professional practice, and to enable them lead or participate in the process of developing, implementing and evaluating innovative, evidence-based ICT solutions which address critical issues in their own educational contexts.

Entry Requirements

A good M.Ed. (ITE), BSc (IT) or B.Ed. (1st or 2nd Class) in any Visual Arts discipline; A good pass (60% or above) in Research Methodology and Thesis Writing at the undergraduate level; Submission of a research proposal on an appropriate topic that is relevant to teaching, learning, and administration of the Arts, Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) or General Education; and, at least One-year classroom teaching or school administration experience. M.Ed. (ITE) with research applicants will offer the programme for one year.
