Master of Philosophy Early Childhood Education

The programme, MPhil Early Childhood Education has been designed to provide the needed skill and training, through practical education as well as equip students with the recommended demands of modern-day early childhood teaching theories. It also seeks to be an advocate for early childhood resources and initiatives available in the country and to also help train adequate early childhood educators and stakeholders.

Entry Requirements

A good B.Ed. (1st or 2nd Class) or M.Ed. (Early Childhood and Leadership) in any Visual Arts discipline; A good pass (60% or above) in Research Methodology and Thesis Writing at the undergraduate level; Submission of a research proposal on an appropriate topic that is relevant to teaching, learning, and administration of the Arts, Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) or General Education; and, at least One-year classroom teaching or school administration experience. MEd (Early Childhood and Leadership) with research applicants will offer the programme for one year.
