Contributing to Training in Art, Science and Technology:

The Department is recognized as one among the best Art Departments in Africa; thus, it is recognized both locally and internationally.

Graduates from the Department are among those who have made and continue to make tremendous impact on academic institutions, private sectors and the development of the country; since most become Teachers, Lecturers and Heads of Academic Institutions, Directors of Education, Security Services, Centres of National Culture, Museums and Monuments Board among others.

The Department is noted for its efforts to promote and invigorate gender balance education.
